Chilling with cops in Delaware

NEW CASTLE, Del. (WPVI) -- Customers waiting on line for Rita's water ice, may have a been a bit surprised to see who was serving up the sweet treat Tuesday.

Members of the new castle county police department were taking orders, and scooping up various flavors, at the shopping center on Christiana road, in New Castle.

The event was appropriately called "chilling with cops" part of a community outreach program, where police can meet the public in different settings that have nothing to do with crime, definitely a cool idea.
