Villanova's National Championship has led to countless honors, even a trip to the White House.

But what happened Tuesday morning made their accomplishment all the more tangible.

The Wildcats received their championship rings.

After morning practice, head coach Jay Wright presented them to his players.

They say they will cherish it always, not for its monetary value, but for what it signifies.

"It's still surreal," Wright told Action News Sports Director Ducis Rodgers. "It's still something you can't believe it really represents going through an entire season and winning that tournament."

Kris Jenkins, who made the National Championship winning buzzer-beater shot, says it was receiving the ring was breathtaking.

"To look at it and know how much hard work and dedication was put into it," Jenkins said. "I'll cherish it forever. We sacrificed a lot, all of us including the coaches, so I'll always cherish that."
