Philadelphia police are looking for the person who robbed a mini-market in the Summerdale neighborhood.

SUMMERDALE -- Philadelphia police are looking for the person who robbed a mini-market in the Summerdale neighborhood.

It happened around 8:25 p.m. on Monday at the Abreu Mini-Market on the 900 block of Sanger Street.

The suspect entered the store and went in the refrigerator to grab a drink.

He then walked to the cash register, where an employee was working behind a plastic partition.

Police say the suspect placed the item on the counter then pulled a handgun out, and demanded money.

The suspect, police say, asked the employee, "Do you want to die?"

The employee then threw the money on the floor. The suspect picked up the money and fled through the front door.

He headed in the direction of Frontenac Street.

The suspect is described as a black male, 5'6" tall, medium build, dark complected, and beard. He was wearing a New York Yankees baseball cap, red or maroon shirt, blue hooded sweatshirt, dark colored pants, black shoes, and armed with a handgun.
