A new study says parents can help prevent their kids from becoming obese at an early age and it all has to do with sleep.

Researchers say preschoolers with bedtimes after 9 p.m. appeared to be twice as likely to be obese later in life.

Those who went to sleep by 8 p.m. were far less likely to be obese as teens.
