One adult and twelve children were taken to the hospital after a van slammed into a building in West Philadelphia.

WEST PHILADELPHIA (WPVI) -- One adult and twelve children were taken to the hospital after a van slammed into a building in West Philadelphia.

The accident happened around 9 a.m. Friday on the 500 block of South 42nd Street.

The driver lost control, and the impact of the crash caused minor damage to the structure.

The driver was taken to Penn Presbyterian Medical Center. And, the children were taken to Children's Hospital.

All victims were brought in just for observation. There were no injuries reported.
