Firefighters battled a blaze at an Applebee's restaurant in Northeast Philadelphia. (WPVI)

Firefighters battled a blaze at an Applebee's restaurant in Northeast Philadelphia.

The fire started shortly before 7 p.m. Sunday at the restaurant located at Welsh and the Boulevard.

Upon arrival, officials say fire was showing from the walls and roof areas.



The fire was brought under control around 8:46 p.m.

Everyone was able to make it out of the restaurant safely, officials say.

No injuries have been reported.

No word on what caused the blaze at this time.
