KENSINGTON (WPVI) -- Philadelphia police are looking for the man who has been assaulting women in the city, and the latest attack left a woman dead.

The man is wanted for the murder of Rickie Morgan on Saturday.

Investigators say he beat Morgan with a brick and stabbed her around 11:30 p.m.

"Some type of deal was made with the individual. We know they went to the back of the location and during that time he beat her, stabbed her multiple times. She was able to run but then she collapsed and succumbed to her injuries," said Lt. James Clark.

Police say the suspect is wanted for at least two other attacks on prostitutes in recent weeks.

On July 12th, police say the suspect slit the throat of a prostitute in on the 3800 block of Jasper. The victim had her played dead but lived.

A black and blue mountain bike helped police connect the cases, as well as the suspect's method of operation and the victims he targets: White female prostitutes between 30 to 35 years old.

"He goes and has conversations with them, tries to make some type of deal, takes them to a secluded area and then he attacks," Clark said.

Police are asking women in the area to be cautious as the suspect remains on the loose.
