Local businesses offer deals and discounts ahead of DNC

PHILADELPHIA (WPVI) -- Tens of thousands of visitors are descending upon Philadelphia for next week's Democratic National Convention, and many local businesses are offering special deals for both visitors and residents alike just for the DNC.

At the Rittenhouse Spa and Club, they're offering three special DNC spa deals.

"This is a wonderful opportunity for the city to show what we have to offer but also for our spa - the little oasis in the city," said Najada Merdani, Spa and Salon Director.

Some packages for men, women and couples are 25% off and have patriotic titles - like the "1600 Penn."

"With a reference to the White House this is our ladies package with a 60 min massage, diamond white facial, pedicure, manicure..." said Merdani.
