PHILADELPHIA MUSEUM OF ART (WPVI) -- On this day that the Democrats are nominating a woman for president, this challenge seemed fitting.

Children gathered outside the Philadelphia Museum of Art to write an essay about life if they were president.

It was an attempt to break a world record for most young writers working on an essay in the same spot at the same time.

No word yet if they broke the record.

Former Philadelphia Mayor and Pa. Governor Ed Rendell provided encouragement.
