VIDEO: Philadelphia police officer jams out with DNC protesters

PHILADELPHIA (WPVI) -- A viral video from DNC convention week in Philadelphia really captured the spirit of the City of Brotherly Love.

Philadelphia police officers, serving and protecting -- and jamming with the people.

Apparently, a Bernie Sanders supporter in a wheelchair told the police officer he loves Lynyrd Skynyrd's classic song "Sweet Home Alabama."

So, the officer grabbed another protester's guitar and started playing.

Video of the jam session posted by the Philadelphia Police Department on social media has been viewed tens of thousands of times. They write: "Here at the PPD, we do it all: Service, Safety, Skynyrd."

Sweet home Philadelphia - we can all say that after a successful week here, and thanks to our men and women in blue for making that happen.
