Young man critically injured in Kensington shooting

KENSINGTON (WPVI) -- Philadelphia police are investigating an early Saturday morning shooting in the Kensington section.

It happened before 4:30 a.m. on Westmoreland Street near E Street.

A 20-year-old male was shot in the head, shoulder and arm.

Medics rushed the victim to Temple University Hospital.

He is listed in critical condition.

Police found nine shell casings at the shooting scene.

So far, no arrests or word on a motive.
