After missing some of the off-season program with a hurt ego, Philadelphia Eagles quarterback Sam Bradford hasn't missed a beat.

Healthy at a camp for the first time in a long time, he says he's learned a lot along the way.

"Just control what you can control. At the end of the day, that's all you can do. That's really kind of been a mantra of mine for a while. Each day, just come out, give your best, try to get better, try to help this football team, and don't worry about everything else," Bradford said.

This year Bradford's challenges will be mental, not physical. Everywhere he turns there are signs that he won't be with the Eagles next season.

Take Sunday's open practice, where Bradford couldn't help but hear the fans chant Carson Wentz's name.

"Obviously, he's the second pick in the draft. There's going to be excitement about that. I think it's good. It's good for this team. It's one of those things I've got to deal with and really, I don't think it's that big of a deal to be honest," Bradford said.

Nor does he seem to mind the questions about his heir apparent which will likely continue to be asked, until the day Wentz steps into Bradford's starting shoes.

"There's a lot on the quarterback's plate. There are a lot of decisions that have to be made. There are a lot of different foot works, a lot of different rhythms, but he's done a great job," Bradford said.
