Water main breaks in Havertown

HAVERTOWN, Pa. (WPVI) -- A water main break in Havertown, Delaware County will result in a road closure, but no loss of a service for customers.

Aqua America says they're working to repair the 16-inch cast iron main that gave way around 8 p.m. Monday.

The fault occurred at the intersection of Burmont and Glendale roads.

The repair is expected to require the road to be shut down until roughly 8 a.m. Tuesday.
