PHILADELPHIA (WPVI) -- Vice President Joe Biden was back in Philadelphia Wednesday night to receive an award for his leadership of the White House initiative on cancer research.

The vice president accepted the Atlas Award from the World Affairs Council of Philadelphia.

"There's never been anything we said we can't do. Never. We've lost a little bit of that mojo as a country," said Biden. "It's within our wheelhouse."

Also Wednesday night, the World Affairs Council of Philadelphia presented its inaugural Young Friends Atlas Award to Dr. David Fajgenbaum.

Dr. David Fajgenbaum is the son-in-law of 6abc President and General Manager Bernie Prazenica.
