Man shot in the stomach in Kingsessing; woman sought

KINGSESSING (WPVI) -- A 43-year-old man is recovering after being shot in the stomach late Thursday night.

Gunfire erupted in the Kingsessing section of Philadelphia at 10:18 p.m.

The Action Cam was on the scene in the 5400 block of Beaumont Avenue not long after shots rang out.

Responding officers entered the property and found the victim in the second-floor bedroom suffering from a gunshot wound to his stomach.

Police say the victim was taken to Penn Presbyterian Medical Center where he underwent surgery and is listed in critical, but stable condition.

A search warrant was conducted at the victim's residence where multiple semi-automatic rifles, magazines and a bullet-proof vest were recovered.

Police are looking for a black woman with a brown complexion in her 30s, with a thin build and black hair wrapped in a bun who was last seen wearing a black dress.
