NICETOWN (WPVI) -- People living in the Nicetown section of Philadelphia are ready to celebrate their neighborhood.

Next Friday, there will be an annual concert and festival to give back to the community.

Local leaders and the Nicetown Community development corporation talked about their plans Thursday.

This year, they are partnering with the Philadelphia Police department and the black lives matter movement to promote peace in the streets.
