PHILADELPHIA (WPVI) -- Here are your freebies for this weekend, August 5-7!

FREE ROOT BEER FLOAT

August 6th is National Root Beer Float Day - a sweet concoction that was created right here in Philadelphia! To celebrate, A&W is celebrating by giving out free floats at all A&W Restaurants tomorrow from 2 p.m. to close.

FREE MEAL FOR LAW ENFORCEMENT

It's law enforcement appreciation week and Roy Rogers is treating all men and women in uniform to a FREE breakfast, lunch or dinner combo. The offer is good now and runs through the end of the day Sunday, August 7. Just bring your badge, and they will serve YOU - free of charge.

FREE FUN AT THE OVAL

There's tons of free fun on tap at the Oval on the Benjamin Franklin Parkway. Friday night there's a free concert at 8 p.m. and a free movie night at 9 p.m. Saturday, there's a free youth soccer program that starts at 12:30 p.m.

FREE MUSEUM ADMISSION

The first Sunday of the month always means free admission at the Barnes Foundation from 10 a.m. - 5 p.m.

FREE FESTIVAL IN NORTHERN LIBERTIES

Sunday it's the 2nd Street Festival in Northern Liberties including free music, kids crafts and workshops. But make sure you bring money for food and the beer gardens! It runs from noon - 10 p.m.

FREE FESTIVAL AT PENN'S LANDING

Also Sunday, it's the ACANA Festival at Penn's Landing featuring food and goods from Africa. There you'll find music, cultural performances and fun for the whole family. The event goes from 2 p.m. to 8 p.m.
