Montgomery County gymnastics instructor charged in sexual assault of child

HATBORO, Pa. (WPVI) -- A Montgomery County gymnastics instructor is facing charges in connection with the sexual assault of a child.

Thirty-three-year-old Daniel Erb of Hatboro is being charged with involuntary deviate sexual intercourse and other offenses.

The charges stem from the alleged assault of a young girl during a three-year period.

Officials say an investigation revealed Erb sexually assaulted the victim multiple times from the age of 8 to 11 years old.

He is being held on a half million dollars bail.
