A biker was shot and killed at a Southwest Philadelphia gas station.

SOUTHWEST PHILADELPHIA (WPVI) -- A biker was shot and killed at a Southwest Philadelphia gas station while he was leaning against his motorcycle.

The shooting happened around 2:30 a.m. Sunday at the BP gas station on Essington Avenue near South 67th Street.

Police say the 38-year-old victim was shot multiple times in the head at close range, and was pronounced dead at the scene.

Investigators are questioning witnesses and checking surveillance cameras in the area.

So far, they have not released the victim's name nor indicated whether they've uncovered any motives or suspects.
