SOUTH PHILADELPHIA (WPVI) -- It's Game Week. The Eagles will finally get to hit someone else.

On Thursday, they will host the Bucs in the pre-season opener, and eyes will be on the quarterbacks.

"We're the three best friends that anyone's ever had," said Eagles quarterback Chase Daniel, quoting the movie, "The Hangover."

And, like the movie, the three Amigos are about to embark on an adventure - their first NFL season together.

"And when we run out of that tunnel, it will be sort of surreal. I know these fans are some of the best so I'm looking forward to Thursday night to say the least," said Daniel.

It may be Daniel's first game as an Eagle, but let's be realistic, for fans it'll be Carson Wentz's Coming Out Party.

Coach Doug Pederson said Wentz will be under center for the bulk of the second half.

"I don't get real nervous with this game. It's just a game, and I don't sweat too much about it. I just go out and have fun with it," said Wentz. "If anything I'll just have to calm down the excitement cause I'll be really excited, but once that first snap is gone, I'll be ready to play."

So what are Bradford's first thoughts going into the first pre-season game?

We don't know. He left after practice to tend to a family matter in Oklahoma. Pederson says how long he plays depends on how well he plays.

"It's a new system that he's embraced and you'd love to see points out of that first unit," said Pederson.

Pederson had a special guest at practice Monday. Not Grizzly Adams, but a bearded Brett Brown.

We asked him his thoughts on Carson Wentz.

"They look like they're organized right now, from a basketball perspective, from a NBA perspective, you're just impressed with the organization of it all," said Brown.

Brown added he didn't know much about Wentz's quarterbacking skills, but we should all know a bit more come Thursday night.
