It was an emotional reunion 8 years in the making for two long-lost siblings.

NEWARK, N.J. (WPVI) -- It was an emotional sibling reunion 8 years in the making.

Terrell and Faith were separated as kids.

They were placed in separate foster homes and lost contact with each other after Faith's last name was changed.

But they are back together thanks to New Jersey State Police, whose Facebook post about the reunion is going viral.

By sheer chance, the two long-lost siblings were reunited at a law enforcement job fair at Rutgers University's Newark Campus.

The person who connected them was state police recruiter who also happened to be a foster child himself.

Trooper Quaron Crenshaw says he has no doubt they were destined to be there - and destined to be future troopers.
