Raising money for cancer research and outreach

CENTER CITY (WPVI) -- The Action Cam was at the Sheraton in Center City for the American Cancer Society's "making strides against breast cancer" kickoff breakfast.

Cancer survivors, their supporters, and volunteers are all gearing up for the annual 5K walk, coming up on October 15.

Last year alone, local participants raised more than 221-thousand dollars for research and outreach.
