Victim hospitalized after home invasion in Port Richmond

A violent home invasion in Port Richmond sent one person to the hospital.

PORT RICHMOND -- Philadelphia Police are searching for two men who forced their way into a Port Richmond home, attacked one person inside, and made off with cash.

The home invasion happened just after 11:00 p.m. Sunday night on the 2000 block of Lippincott Street.

Police say two suspects were masked, fled on foot, and remain at-large.

The one person injured in the attack was taken to Temple University Hospital for treatment.

Police have not released any motive in the attack.
