A worker was injured in a chemical spill at a plant in Maple Shade, NJ.

MAPLE SHADE, N.J. -- A worker was injured after an accident at a chemical plant in Maple Shade, New Jersey.

It happened around 11 a.m. Friday at CVC Thermoset Specialties in the 2900 block of Route 73.

A worker was burned after some kind of chemical reaction.

That worker was taken to the hospital but has since been released.

It's not known what type of chemical was involved.

The building was briefly evacuated, but everyone has since been allowed back inside.
