Driver in custody after police chase in Wilmington

WILMINGTON, Del. (WPVI) -- One person is in custody for a police chase in Wilmington, Delaware.

It started around 11 p.m. Monday along the 800 block of Harrison Street.

Police say they were trying to stop a suspect from driving recklessly through city limits.

But the suspect tried to run away, and ended up crashing. He then led police on a foot chase.

After a quick chase, the suspect was taken into custody.
