Family: Man killed over door dispute
A man was killed over a dispute about holding a door, his family says

LAS VEGAS, NV -- A 31-year-old man is dead after his family says he mistakenly didn't hold a door open for a woman at a Las Vegas McDonald's restaurant.

Mohammad Robinson died Saturday night.

KSNV reports an argument ensued when the woman told a man she was with about the perceived slight, and he reportedly pulled a gun and shot Robinson.

Miniya Sampson, 14, told KSNV, "It was a stupid reason honestly, irrelevant. It doesn't make any sense why would you actually take someone's life over not opening a door."

Sampson believes her father died because of a misunderstanding.

"My dad would open the door and hold it for the lady but he probably didn't hear her," said Sampson.

Sampson told KSNV she's praying the murderer is caught soon. The 14-year-old tells us her heart will be forever broken.

"I love him," she said. "I wish he was still here."
