AMATRICE, Italy -- A cat in Amatrice, Italy was found alive five days after a major earthquake left towns buried in rubble.

The cat's owner had begged firefighters to help her find it, saying her cat Joy was all she had left.

This week, workers were moving rubble with bulldozers when they spotted the white-and-gray-tabby alive.

Fire crews pulled the kitty from the rubble and gave it some much-needed water, then reunited Joy with the grateful owner.
