Woman dead, man critical in North Philadelphia shooting

NORTH PHILADELPHIA (WPVI) -- A double shooting in North Philadelphia has left a woman dead and a man in critical condition.

It was around 12:30 a.m. Monday when police were called to the 2200 block of North Chadwick Street.

Arriving officers discovered a 28-year-old woman shot in the chest and a 25-year-old man suffering from a bullet wound to the head.

Both victims were rushed to the Temple Hospital. The woman was later pronounced dead. The man is listed in critical condition.

So far, police have no suspects or motives in the shooting.
