A baby spent the Labor Day weekend showing off his skills on the water.

Video shows 6-month-old Auburn Absher water skiing at a lake in North Carolina.

His parents are sharing the video of their fearless little guy.

He is wearing a life jacket and his mom is running alongside him there in ankle-deep water.

Auburn's dad says his son's talent sets a new record for the youngest water skier at six months and ten-days old, reportedly beating the old record by two weeks.
