PGW donates school supplies, back packs

NORTH PHILADELPHIA (WPVI) -- It was a get ready for school party here in North Philadelphia for some needy kids Tuesday.

Families staying at the red shield residence, a transitional home for 41 homeless families, got some much needed help.

Employees from the Philadelphia Gas Works donated school supplies and back packs.

Pencils, notebooks, and some surprises will make the start of school that much better.
