Child hides in bathroom with burglar in house

A 12-year-old boy in south Florida came face-to-face with a burglar while he was home alone.

Newly-released video shows the burglar rummaging through the home back in July.

The boy told police he heard the man break through a kitchen window.

He then hid in the bathroom and called 911.

The boy was not hurt.

The thief stole laptops, passports, and jewelry.
