NEWARK, Del. (WPVI) --Efforts to free a man from an overturned truck slowed traffic on I-95 in Newark Delaware Wednesday morning.
The crash happened before 8:30 a.m. Wednesday on the northbound side of the highway at the Route 896 interchange.
Video from Chopper 6 HD showed multiple rescue crews on the scene working to free the driver from the cab of the vehicle, which was lying on its side next to the ramp leading from I-95 North to Route 896.
Police say the 51-year-old man was ejected during the crash and was pinned.
The man was freed at about 9 a.m. and wheeled on stretcher to a medical helicopter.
He was last reported to be hospitalized in critical but stable condition.
All lanes of northbound I-95 were back open by 10:30 a.m.
