The new Tawanka Elementary debuts

LANGHORNE, Pa, (WPVI) -- A new school year and a new school in Langhorne, Bucks county.

They cut the ribbon Thursday night on Tawanka Elementary on Brownsville Road.

The school first opened there in 1964.

Ground was broken last year on this brand new school building to replace the aging one and it will serve students from Lower Southampton and Middletown, as part of a consolidation plan in the Neshaminy School District.
