CLEMENTON, N.J. (WPVI) -- Prosecutors say a New Jersey man used his neighbor's Wi-Fi to download thousands of child porn images and hundreds of videos.

Camden County authorities executed a search warrant at a Clementon home on Sept. 1. But they determined the homeowners weren't involved after speaking with them.

But authorities learned the Wi-Fi wasn't password protected. They say they later determined that 55-year-old Louis LaSalle was using it to download child porn to a laptop computer.

Investigators say they found more than 33,000 images and more than 700 videos on the laptop. They also confiscated a wireless router they say he used to connect to his neighbor's Wi-Fi.

LaSalle was charged with possessing and distributing child porn. His bail was set at $150,000. It wasn't known Monday if he's retained an attorney.
