Thousands of Philadelphia high school students are expected to benefit from new federal funding (WPVI)

Thousands of Philadelphia high school students are expected to benefit from new federal funding.

The U.S. Department of Education awarded 3 Million dollars to Philadelphia's College Access Centers, which help to prepare students for higher education.

The grant will serve 12 hundred students, per year, at 5 public high schools, including Kensington's CAPA, where officials made the announcement Monday.
