Jim Gardner getting over infection, looks forward to return

PHILADELPHIA (WPVI) -- As you may have noticed, Jim Gardner hasn't been on the air this week.

He is in the hospital getting over an infection.

The good news is: he is feeling much better and looking forward to getting back to work.

He's been tweeting while he is on the mend, which we know is a great sign!

All of us here at Action News wish him a speedy recovery and are ready for him to return soon.
