Fire damages house in Germantown

GERMANTOWN (WPVI) -- A fast-moving fire damaged a house in Philadelphia's Germantown neighborhood.

The fire started around 6 a.m. Wednesday on the 5100 block of Keyser Street.

Firefighters arrived to heavy smoke showing on the first floor.

They quickly were able to get the fire under control.

One person was removed from the house. That person was checked out by medics at the scene as a precaution.

No word on what caused the blaze.
