PHILADELPHIA --On the morning of September 26, 2015, a plane carrying Pope Francis touched down at Philadelphia International Airport, beginning a whirlwind weekend of events that brought thousands upon thousands of people to the City of Brotherly Love.
The pope's first event was a speech at Independence Hall.
Later that day, he took part in a parade on the Ben Franklin Parkway for the Festival of Families.

On the morning of September 27, 2015, Pope Francis delivered a speech to seminarians at St. Charles Borromeo Seminary
From there, the pope paid a visit to inmates at Curran-Fromhold Correctional Facility.
Finally, capping a historic weekend for the City of Brotherly Love, Pope Francis then said Mass for the crowds of faithful gathered around Eakins Oval.
