Store clerk kidnapping caught on camera in Los Angeles

LOS ANGELES, Calif. (WPVI) -- Dramatic new video shows a man, armed with a hammer, kidnapping a store clerk.

The frightening ordeal began Wednesday afternoon in Los Angeles.

The victim triggered a silent alarm and witnesses called 911 as they watched the attacker drag the woman away.

He took her to a cemetery where she was able to escape.

Police later chased down and arrested 29-year-old Jose Caro.

Investigators say Caro had been stalking the victim.

The clerk was taken to a nearby hospital for a medical evaluation.
