Detroit man stuck hanging upside down for 13 hours

A Detroit man spent 13 hours hanging upside down after trying to break into his own home.

Police say the man lost his keys early Thursday morning, and was trying to get into the house through a basement window.

His ankle caught on the window and he couldn't move.

And to make matters worse, it was raining and the man's head was just inches away from flood water that was filling up the basement.

Thankfully his neighbor found him and called for help.

Crews took the man to the hospital to be checked out.
