A police investigation in the Poconos has now been linked to the disappearance of a Lehigh Valley mother three years ago.

ROSS TWP., Pa. -- A police investigation in the Poconos has now been linked to the disappearance of a Lehigh Valley mother three years ago.

State police, fire officials and the coroner having been excavating a wooded area behind a home in Ross Township, Monroe County, for several days.

The home belongs to a man who once worked with Holly Grim in Lehigh County.

Grim vanished from her home in Lower Macungie Township in 2013, after dropping her son off at his bus stop.

Investigators say while Grim and the co-worker had a working relationship, but Grim's mother tells WFMZ-TV they were not friends.
