Police investigating I-95 incident involving erratic driver in Holmesburg

HOLMESBURG (WPVI) -- Philadelphia and Pennsylvania State Police are trying to determine if an erratic driver was under the influence during an incident on Interstate 95 in Holmesburg.

On Monday night, Chopper 6 was over the Academy Road/Linden Avenue off-ramp from northbound I-95.

There police had a pick-up truck surrounded.

Police stopped the truck after the driver was observed drifting in and out of his lane, and striking a guardrail at least once.

The driver, who had a passenger in the truck, was taken into custody.

No other cars were struck during the incident.

No injuries were reported.
