National honor for local player

NORTH PHILADELPHIA (WPVI) -- A senior student athlete at Saint Joe's Prep in North Philadelphia has been chosen for an elite honor.

D'Andre Swift is one of just 125 players in the nation to be chosen for the 2017 U.S. Army All American Bowl.

Swift was presented with his jersey Thursday.

He is the second Prep player in school history to be chosen for the team.

The game will take place on Sunday July 27th in San Antonio.

The All American Bowl game counts more than 200 NFL players among its alumni.
