Bomb squad responds to Gloucester County school

The Camden County Bomb Squad responded to a school in Mantua Township, Gloucester County.

MANTUA TWP., N.J. (WPVI) -- The Camden County Bomb Squad responded to a school in Mantua Township, Gloucester County.

Officials were called to the Gloucester County Christian School, located on the 100 block of Golf Club Road.

The school is located on a former military base.

Officials say someone found an old piece of ordinance on the property, but we are told it was not near the school building.

Authorities performed a controlled detonation of the ordinance.
