Teen shot in Oxford Circle

OXFORD CIRCLE (WPVI) -- Police say a 17-year-old male was shot in the thigh in Philadelphia's Oxford Circle.

The incident happened around 1:45 a.m. Monday on the 900 block of Granite Street.

The victim told police, he was in driveway a few blocks away when two males approached him.

The suspects were wearing dark colored hooded sweatshirts and allegedly pointed a gun at the victim.

The victim says he heard a shot and then noticed he was wounded.

He then ran to Granite Street where his cousin lived.

His cousin called police, and he was taken Einstein Medical Center.

He was treated and released.

So far, no arrests or word on a motive.
