WYNNEFIELD HEIGHTS -- They've been out of high school for 74 years and, on Monday, they got together to take a walk down memory lane.

Eight classmates remain from Central High School's class of 1942.

They met for lunch in Wynnefield Heights.

Back then, the Philadelphia school was all boys.

One graduate, 92-year-old Milt Dienes talked about life after getting his diploma.

He went to Penn State, but then enlisted in the service.

He worked as a photographer in the Air Force.

"We were processing photographs that were taken by the fighter pilots and by the bombardiers so they could identify what they hit and also what they did not hit," Dienes said.

Dienes said at one point during World War II, they were processing 14,000 photos a day.

And he said was on the ground after the Nagaski bomb was dropped in Japan.
