What Now?: Kevin Hart treats local fans to special screening of new movie

SOUTH PHILADELPHIA (WPVI) -- He's Philadelphia's native son.

"Regardless of where I am, I always gravitate back toward home," said Kevin Hart, comedian.

And here is where Kevin Hart says his heart is. That's why Wednesday night he gave local fans a special screening of his latest stand up movie titled, "Kevin Hart: What Now?"

The film has already broken records.

"I decided to film the special here at the Lincoln Financial Stadium. It was amazing! Anything I do, I try to go above and beyond. The goal is to be a ground breaker. The goal is do things that haven't been done," said Hart.

Last August, the North Philadelphia native became the first comedian to ever perform at an at-capacity football stadium with more than 50,000 fans.

And if that's not winning, he just got a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame, and he's constantly giving back to his hometown.

"It's really cool to see someone came from my hood, who actually made it, really made it. I see him everywhere," said Truman Boca of North Philadelphia.

Fans packed two theaters at United Artists Riverview that seat 700 people.

Danielle Tate tells us she waited in line three hours to see the special screening.

"He's funny and he just makes everyone laugh," said Siani Shelton of Southwest Philadelphia.

"I like the fact that he keeps it real. His realness is really funny to me. It's really relatable," said Truman.
