Office Depot school grants

CENTER CITY (WPVI) -- Every Philadelphia school will be able to buy some brand new classroom supplies, thanks to a major gift.

Monday morning, principals across the city learned they're getting grants from Office Depot.

The action cam was at Albert Greenfield School in center city as the 167 thousand dollar donation was announced.

Superintendent Doctor William Hite revealed that each school will get 750 dollars.

Office Depot is also funding a senior of the month program, which awards a 500 dollar scholarship to two deserving students.
