Person shot, injured in crash in Middletown

MIDDLETOWN, Del. (WPVI) -- New Castle County authorities say a person was injured in a shooting and accident in Middletown, Delaware.

It happened just before 5:30 p.m. Tuesday in the 300 block of Dove Run Road.

The victim was flown to Christiana Hospital with injuries from both the crash and shooting.

The person's condition has not been released.

Middletown Township police are investigating.
