Protests against police violence continued around the nation Monday night from New York to California.

Hundreds of people marched through Berkeley for a third night a row, blocking a major highway and stopping a train as activists in this ultra-liberal bastion protested grand jury decisions not to indict white police officers in the deaths of two unarmed black men on the other side of the country.

The large crowds were calling for justice for Eric Garner and Michael Brown.

Police tried to clear the crowd off the road, but the protesters kept pushing there way back on.

The traffic delays were for several miles.

One woman even went into labor while stuck in the traffic jam.

An ambulance managed to reach the pregnant woman and rush her to the hospital.

Even train travel was brought to a halt, when another group demonstrated on railroad tracks.

The protests also continued in New York City.

Demonstrators chanted "Hands up! Don't shoot. Eric Garner, Michael Brown! Shut it down, shut it down!"

Protesters also gathered outside the Brooklyn Basketball arena where British Royals, William and Kate were attending the Nets-Cavaliers game.

Inside the arena, Cleveland's Lebron James joined a growing list of athletes who are showing their support for the protests.

The NBA star wore a t-shirt that said "I can't breathe." - Eric Garner's last words.

In an interview with BET, President Obama weighted in on the ongoing demonstrations.

"The value of peaceful protests, activism, organizing, is it reminds the society this is not yet done," said the President.

The President also said, this issue is so deeply rooted in American Society and is not going to be solved overnight.

But, he said there is and will be progress.
